Why did Steven Curtis Chapman write the song Cinderella?

The song was written after his oldest daughter announced her engagement. He was giving the two youngest (Stevey Joy & Maria) a bath one night and had scolded them for playing around too much when he had a lot to do, and after they'd gone to sleep he felt God telling him that here he was wondering where time had gone with his oldest girl, yet he was rushing his little ones through their childhood. It was already on the radio before Maria passed away.
