It's uncomfortable to speak to someone who you have broken up with. There are, however, some exes that are friends, and do speak with each other. It's just that when you are with an ex, you think of the good times....and then u want to get back together. Or you think about how much they hurt you, when breaking up, and feel like leaving. That's why most exes don't stay in contact w/ each other or avoid the other person.
