Check the ground wire. You have a bad connection somewhere.
with the park lights on both left and right side are lite. but when the brake is applied the right brake lights up and the left goes out(doesn't light up)
you need to repair the lights and they will both work and your taillights will work properly
your brake light switch is probably out
check the light bulb same double element bulb for both lights
There could be a separate fuse for the lower brake lights , or maybe both lower brake light bulbs are burned out
Brake light switch near brake pedal
Check the tail light bulbs. These bulbs do double duty. Thet are both the tail light & the brake light. Tail light part might be burnt out.
I hate to ask , but did you check the bulbs ? The tail light portion may work fine , but the brake lights don't if both of the bulbs are bad .
i am not sure you mean brake lights or tail lights. If brake lights don't work. You have to check out a brake light switch,(it conects to your brake pedal) make sure both wires are conected to the switch. And if tail lights don't work, you have to replace a head light switch.(where you turn your head light on and off)
yes they have brake lights and you probably have a bad brake light switch which is on top of the brake pedal under the dash.
Defective brake light switch.
This sounds more like a brake light switch than a bulb. The switch is mounted on a bracket right behind your brake petal.....an inexpensive replacement. If the lights work for a good long time after replacing both at the same time it could be a wiring issue that occurs intermittently. You should replace both brake light bulbs at the same time anyway.....safety first and all.
