The IAU decides on what is a planet under new guidelines
The International Astronomical Union decided that upon further discovery of smaller body's of planet like material in our solar system but far from the sun or Neptune's orbit of the sun that all new planets found would probably be small and are to be named as dwarf planets.
This was prompted recently by the discovery of the then named Xena now Eris our 5th dwarf planet
Eris is larger and rounder in shape than Pluto which prompted the Question When is a Planet not a planet? in 2006 they issued new guidelines where Pluto lost it's planetary status and was demoted to a dwarf planet.
Well the definition of a planet would be any celestial body (other than comets or satellites) that revolves around a star according to wordnetweb.com
So just base it to that.
The definition of a planet:
It orbits around the sun.
It has to have a great mass to make hydrostatic equilibrium. (a round shape)
it cleared the neighborhood.
The definition of a planet was set by the International Astronomical Union.
The IAU decides what is a planet and what is not. Pluto is an icy body which has not cleared a substantial fraction of material from its orbit, and it is smaller than other bodies residing in the Kuiper Belt. It is also more of a coplanet with Charon, its largest moon. For these reasons Pluto is considered a dwarf planet.
It needs hydrostatic equilibrium (roughly spherical shape cause of gravity) and hasn't cleared it's orbit of planetoids (other asteroids and dwarf planets). The definition of dwarf planet is contested because a number of major planets haven't cleared their orbits of planetoids. It's likely we will be looking for a better definition in the future as we have in the past as well.
The Chaser Decides ended on 2010-08-25.
aldosterone is the hormone that decides this
A dwarf planet it used to a be a planet
Scientists that study the solar system.
the people who decidorie what is aired are planet of the apes
The International Astronomical Union (IAU) decides these things.
I don't think so. In general, it is the IAU (International Astronomical Union) that decides whether an object is a planet.

Yes and no. He is good, but decides that he needs to rule the violent human race, sort of like Vandal Savage but without blowing up half the planet.
who decides what good literature is ?
