In theory, this is asking "why" a Witness is some certain way. Without knowing the Witness, one would be hard pressed to know the "why" of his or her motivation.

Of course, in practice, this is but another anti-Witness statement posing as a question.

The answer? Maybe the Witnesses do not feel "uninformed". Maybe thinking differently about a situaton than the questioner does not make them "uninformed". Maybe it just means they disagree with the assessment.

The "question" also assumes facts not in evidence. It makes the assumption of pagan origins and false prophecies that no Witness would actually agree with. One may ask with as much fairness, "Why are all Catholics pope-worshipping idolaters?", for of course, they are not.

Pyramidology is being assumed to be pagan when in reality it is not, although the JWs, and many others, may believe it to be. Russell, however, was never associated with an authoritarian organization such as the Jehovah's Witnesses, nor did he believe in the "Good News" of bad tidings for most of the earth's inhabitants that the JWs preach. In other words, the JWs preach a "good news" that is almost the opposite of what Russell taught.

Russell never gave any "prophecies" at all, so he never gave any "false prophecies." Russell many times denied that his expectations and conclusions should be considered as prophecy.
