Why do some students hate homework?
I believe that most students dislike homework because it takes away from their free time. Students may also dislike homework because it is sometimes difficult, and discouraging if they don't understand it. Also some students find that their homework is to difficult and because they don't want to seem stupid and ask for help they tend to not do it to seem cool but they simply find that homework is a mood breaker:(

Why do so many students find math so difficult?
Some students can find math difficult because it requires abstract thinking. Some people deal better with concrete concepts. This is why some math problems are presented as word problems. Math is difficult for some because you must imagine things, without having physical objects to look at and understand. People who do bad with algebra often do very good with geometry, since you can SEE what you are trying to solve.

How does teacher assess the learning in the lesson?
By asking the students questions and also by listening to what they say and the questions that they ask during a lesson. Even by just observing the students as a lesson progresses a teacher can get a feel for what they are learning. If a lot of students look confused, a teacher can know they are finding it difficult to understand. Teachers can also give a test after the lesson or a task to do to see how much they have learned.

How does studying effect the students outcome on a test?
Depends on the student circumstances or the situation. In most cases, though, students who usually understands for tests get higher scores than ones that do not or just do not really understand the concepts. Students who understand and remember the concept for just an hour can get better scores than ones who study longer hours without understanding the concept. All it depends is on the students themselves who understand quickly and have great memories on the material do not need to review much.
