Why are a 1996 Lumina and a 1996 Sonoma both blowing out hot air if the compressor is working you put freon in and checked the fuses?

Maybe you have a bad heater core and it's causing the ac to blow hot air in instead of blowing cold air inside your car that's what's wrong with my 91 Chevy Caprice and we put freon and checked it and it blows hot air like what you are saying i was told that it was something with the heater core so to my knowledge it sounds like the heater core is bad in your car or cars try replacing it or having someone replace it and see if that works it worked for me now i have cold air again hope i was able to help you with your question
Answercheck your airflow valves, also check the heater valve it could be stuck open, could even install a manual valve(s)Wiki User
