Cats are not completely color blind it is said they are ale to see 3 or maybe 4 colors, the reason they can only see the few colors is because there eyes do not have the same receptors as humans.

Cats seem to be able to distinguish between higher frequency colors, meaning cats respond to the colors purple, blue, green and possibly yellow range. Red, orange and brown colors appear to fall outside cats color range and are most likely seen as shades of grey or purple.

Cats are not purple because they have no reason to be. Purple is not a color that would help an animal adapt and live in their environment therefore cats are not purple.

I've heard some cats are a bluey-grey colour but have not seen or heard of any green cats, meaning they're probably non-existant.

Cats have different colored skin, but if it is cold you should ask a vet if there is anything wrong with your cat.
