To many people, cats are a lot cuter than dogs. Their almond-shaped eyes, small noses, medium ears, small paws, and variety of fur colors are the most noticed features.
When they sleep, they often sleep on their sides, with their paws at their muzzles or chest. This creates a toddler type appearance. To cat lovers, this appearance makes them feel happy, which, in return, makes them see the cat as cute.
To those who want a more, how do you say, descriptive reason, in you will, then I will scientifically explain. As you know, the sleeping cat has a toddler type appearance. This then activates a special hormone in a human's gland, creating a sense of well-being, or friendship. This feeling is stimulated through the brain as motherly or fatherly love, which makes the cat's appearance levels rise. This makes the cat seem cuter to the human.
Cats and dogs are cute due to the reasoning that they are good for humans. Cats kept away rats that carried illness in the past, and dogs kept away any dangerous animals and humans. So it should come as an instinct for most of us to love them.

I just think that some cats are born funny, however, some cats are not and can have different types of personalities.

∙ 14y agoGod made the creatures so that we could have friends to love, cuddle and pet. Humans (and most animals) have physical traits that trigger instinctive responses. Part of our attraction to animals comes from their similarity to human young : many pets have the same small noses and big round eyes. Insects and reptiles lack these features. The adoption of other animals as pets may be due to their small size (especially when young). Animals which are not considered in the "cute" category may still trigger a parental bond with humans, especially when they are domesticated or otherwise cared for.
