Because - you're in school to LEARN - not play with your phone !... If your parents need to contact you in school time, they can phone the school to get a message to you. If the school needs to contact your parents - they will have a list of numbers where your parents can be reached.

∙ 11y agoCell phones should be allowed at school because they are a great and fast way of contacting your parents in emergencies or when you need them to bring you something (ex. your lunch). Also, cell phones should be allowed at school to be used to call the police or firefighters for real lock downs and fires.

∙ 14y agoso just in case theres an emergency, they can quickly call anyone, but most students already always have their phone in their pocket. and plus if a teacher is being ignorant than they can call mom/or dad.
