Why are domestic violence cases in Pennsylvania biased against men?
Domestic violence cases are most often filed against men in America due to the rarity that a women abuses a man in a domestic dispute.
You should get a lawyer who specializes in family law and domestic violence claims. I didn't and now I suffer for that. See my site with my personal story and the injunction documents that show how flawed domestic violence laws are and how biased the courts are against men. http://www.falselyaccusedofdomesticviolence.com
I think domestic violence laws should be blind to gender. First of all there are some pretty big girls out there and some pretty small guys. How fair is that? Second, I've seen some really gentle men get the crap beat out of them by their psycho women. It shouldn't matter what gender you are. If someone hits you, they should be subject to the law the same as anyone else.
There are always reference materials available. The question is whether you want references that are unbiased or biased towards a particular answer (for or against). Unbiased materials would be any encyclopedia, biased against would be any Chick Young (or similar) pamphlet on the subject and biased for material would be in "New Age" book shops.
Only in so much as eyewitnesses can be said to be biased. Previously, they were biased against the Resurrection since they did not believe it was possible for a crucified man to rise. This bias was overcome when they witnessed His risen body. The disciples had nothing to gain and everything - including their lives - to lose by recording and preaching their experiences so being biased or prejudiced was not of any benefit to…
Oakland Raiders were very biased against Vikings in Super Bowl XI. Seriously, the Vikings made many enemies, in England, Ireland, France, and a lot of other places, for about three centuries. It was a somewhat deserved bias, as Viking notions of property acquirement were not always conducive to Medieval convention.
I am human, maybe even biased. For that I'm sorry. Please consider that the debtor has stacked the odds against themselves before they post here. If you could read a lot of my posts, you would notice that I am biased against repo agents who tell the debtor lies about what they can/will do. There are no magic answers for most of these posts, only what the law allows. If you wish to discuss it…
For the most part historians and teachers have used bias when discussing the US Civil War. Most high school students for example have been taught that Lincoln "freed the slaves" which in reality he did not. And the South is usually painted as evil slave holders. There is much discussion about the US Civil War, and without taking sides it appears that there is a bias against the South. I emphasize "without taking sides".
When the polarity of the battery is such that electrons are allowed to flow through the diode, then the diode is said to be forward-biased. Conversely, when the battery is "backward" and the diode blocks current, then the diode is said to be reverse-biased. A diode may be thought of as like a switch: "closed" when forward-biased and "open" when reverse-biased.
No, WikiAnswers isn't biased against people who oppose gay behavior. It isn't biased against people who promote that behavior either... but WikiAnswers IS biased against expressing hatred or discrimination against anyone else, because of site rules. I guess it comes down to how you express your opposition. If you oppose gay actions, respectfully, in answers to questions that are specifically about that topic, then you're good. If you instead insult the people themselves, promote discrimination…
