Forest Fires can kill animals that live in the forest and can kill many people. Fires spread quickly if not quickly treated and it can spread, killing many people and burn down people's houses. The Victoria bushfire killed many people and left many homeless.
Fires are a necessary disturbance tool for natural plant communities to thrive and remain health and productive, therefore fires really are not bad for the environment. Just like grazing cattle may seem like a bad thing but really isn't, the same can be said for fire, and is only recently now being realized by scientists and land managers.
The smoke causes pollution, and a small campfire might cause a forest fire, unless you are burning the things in your house. The only thing bad about burning it in a house is smoke.
Manage pollution because its bad for the air and its bad for humans and animals.
The fossil fuels when burnt produces pollutants. The pollutants then go in the environment and pollute it.Hence fossil fuels are bad to use.
Burning wood is not necessarily bad for the environment. It can be bad, if it is not done with consideration for the environment, but if it is done properly, it can actually be beneficial. Harvesting wood can be bad for the environment, but it need not be. Done responsibly, it is part of good forest management. Burning wood badly puts ash, unwanted gasses, and creosote into the air, which are pollutants. This is what commonly happens, but it can be avoided. Burning wood in a stove with properly designed equipment and complete combustion emits only carbon dioxide and water vapor, with any ash being trapped. There are many designs of stoves that produce little in the way of pollutants. Incomplete combustion, in which the wood is gasified and charcoal is left behind, followed by complete combustion of the wood gasses, can be used for carbon sequestration, and actually puts only carbon dioxide into the atmosphere that originated there, with the sequestered carbon also coming from the atmosphere. This means that the operation of such a unit can have a negative carbon footprint. There is a link below to an article on wood gas generation, where the principles are explained. It has some pictures of wood gasifiers used to provide automotive fuel, among other things.
what affect does burning fossil fuels have on the environment?
Coz burning coal produces lots of heat which is released into atmosphere. It also generated flyash polluitng the surrounding environment.
Nature IS the environment.
Well, it uses electricity, and that is made by burning things, (fossil fuels) so yes, it does hurt the environment, but if the electric is solar, HEP or another reusable type it is not bad.
Burning carbon paper, or any paper for that matter, is bad for the environment. Also, for health reasons, people should not be breathing in burning paper.
Many bad BAD things.. Did I help you..? No okay! :)
pollution caused by the burning of the fuelsIt is bad for the environment and for our health.
it depends its hazardous to burn a couple of plastics as such silage film, hay bags, bale wrap and woven tarps.
Something that has a profound effect on the enviroment ( in a bad way)environment are the things around
Manage pollution because its bad for the air and its bad for humans and animals.
no volcanoes don't help our environment because it can destroy things and its bad when it irrupts
yes. we should recycle our trash not burn it. But sometimes burn could be a better option.
people affect the envirornment by many things like pollution, burning garbages etc .
