I am afraid it is due to the realease of the movie "Jaws" that enforeced others to fear them. Just remember, Shark Safety is important. They won't gobble you up in a bite, but a shark chomp could put a damper on your day. Try to avoid going in to the ocean with Jewlery, while Bleeding, and stay away from risky surfers and litter.

Some people have been known to hunt sharks for their fins.
Sharks, along with many other predatorial animals in the world, have an important role in life.
They would eat creatures that are more of a threat than they are and keep them from overpopulating such as jellyfish.
Even though people would say that they attack people the truth is that it's not really natural for sharks to attack people, Abd shark attacks rarely ever happen.
The only reason that people say they're dangerous is that they watch scary shark movies like "Jaws".
As for the biting.
To be frank, it's not really the shark's fault, they need to bite, they depend on biting because it's one of their more evasive senses such as smelling or hearing.
And let's face it,
People are more of a danger to sharks than sharks are to people.

∙ 14y agoHumans are not in danger of sharks, because when you see a shark you would usually get scared and splash about, but a shark only will bite you if you start splashing about because they think you are trying to attack them or something. So try and not splash about when you see a shark.
