The outer planets are the Gas Giants.

Because they are large planets that are made of gases.

The four gas giants in our solar system that are outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. (There are no inner planets in our solar system that are gas giants.)

The outer planets are also known as the gas giants.

The outer planets are sometimes called Jovian Planets or gas giants or for Uranus and Neptune (Ice Giants)

The outer planets are Gas Giants, also known as Jovian planets.

False. The outer planets are gas giants (although they have a solid core). The inner planets are 'rocky'.

They are called the "outer planets." But also the "gas giants" because they all have thick atmospheres and no accessible surface.

The outer planets are known as gas giants because all the planets outside of Mars (with the exception of the microplanet Pluto) are not solid, but rather made up of gas.

Generally, the outer planets are called Gas Giants, however, Uranus and Neptune are now referred to as Ice Giants.

Jovian planets or gas giants

Inner Planets: Are rocky planets and smallOuter Planets: Are gas giants and giant

The inner planets are rocky and the outer planets are gas giants.

Gas Giants or Outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune and NOT dwarf planets

Gas giants (for the outer planets), versus rocky planets.

The inner planets are made of small bodies made of rock and outer planets are made of gas called gas giants.

The rock planets. and the outer planets are called the gas giants.

Gas giants - Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Yes because the four outer planets,Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are gas planets. They are known for their gas. The outer planets (closer to the sun) have rocky surfaces. So the outer planets have gas surfaces

outer planets are gas giants whille inner planets are just rocky planets. that includes that outer planets have significant amount of mass than the inner planets
