also they are the same equal length in latitude and longitude - 33 1/3 degrees north and south.

∙ 11y agoBecause those are the limits of all the latitudes where the sun can ever be directly
overhead. That happens at some point on the Tropic of Cancer around June 21, and
at some point on the Tropic of Capricorn around December 21. At all other times, the
sun is directly overhead somewhere between those two latitudes, and never at any
latitude that's not between them.
