Some questions are poorly worded, so cannot be easily answered. Others are placed in the wrong categories, so it takes a while to find a person who can answer the question satisfactorily. Another reason is that many questions are very similar to each other- rephrasing the question may lead you to the right answer. Also, it may just be because there are so many questions that are asked at one time, whereas there just aren't enough people willing to answer them.
Questions are not submitted by Answers dot com. They are submitted by the general public. Often, individuals will submit material that is more like search terms than questions, and it probably reflects the current on-line culture more than anything else. Contributors (like you?) make an effort to turn material into useful questions when possible, but sometimes too little information is given.

Not all answers are inadequate. These questions are answered by the public, so some people could just say stupid answers but some are quite adequate

The main reason that questions go unanswered on this site is, there are so many questions coming in so fast, your question gets pushed down the list rapidly. The people that answer the questions start at the top, for the most part. If you do not receive an answer within a few minutes, resend your question. Send it as many times as you have to, until it gets answered. Good luck.
Why don't Answerscom stats transfer between languages for example if I have 5 trust points in the English Answerscom why don't I have 5 trust points on the Spanish Answerscom?
Most people answer questions in only one language, so the situation does not come up very often, and the system is not designed to apply trust points to more than one account. Honestly, we do not answer questions for the trust points, we answer questions because we like to help people (and to advertise our erudition). This does not really require trust points. Those are just an embellishment.
