When there are treble ("G") clefs on both staves, it means that both hands are playing notes in the treble (above middle C), where most of the notes are in the treble and none (or hardly any) in the bass below middle C.
In piano music there is only one treble clef, the other clef you see is the bass clef, also known as the F clef. This looks like a semi-circle with two dots just to the right of it. The reason there is a treble and a bass clef is that on a piano, there are two sections. The note C closest to the middle of a piano is middle C. All of the notes to the left of it are the bass notes - low notes. To the right of middle C are the treble notes - higher pitched. Therefore the bass notes are written on the bass clef, and treble notes on the treble clef. Bass clef notes are usually used as the accompanyment notes to the treble melody.
It is best to begin learning the piano hands separately. Start with the right hand alone on a song. Then go to left hand alone. After you are extremely solid with both hands separately then play them at the same time extremely slowly. Remember to keep playing hands separate while you try to put the hands together. You should start at a speed that is slow enough that you can play both hands at the same time accurately. Then slowly speed up.
You write a treble clef like this:
I usually start at the bottom, but I don't think it matters. The treble clef is also known as the "G" clef. Notice how the clef loops around the G note.
face and e good boy d__ fudge
start at C with the line through it at the bottom
then D is the one above that then the first line is E the 1st space is F and then the G then A B C and then it repeats forever
sharps and flats are determined by the key signature and to learn those and scales i recommend looking up the circle of 4ths/5ths it an be really helpful when trying to learn scales
you start off slow and basically just practice at it. its hard at first but after a wile you'll be able to read them both like nothing. just keep practicing and you will be able to read as well as anyone
A song with two treble clefs just means that your left had (on the piano) would be reading from the key of treble clef as well as your right hand. Usually that means that the song is higher and the notes are too high for a bass clef. It's a lot like the left hand being in bass clef except that there are different notes and it is higher up on the piano.
The lines of the treble clef are EGBDF. The C one ledger line below the treble staff is middle C, or the C on the A string in 1st position. This is your reference for mentally transposing cello music in treble clef. All of the notes will be on the A string and most will be in higher positions. Take notice of the half step relationships to help you find the notes.
Generally, right hand plays in treble clef, and left hand plays bass clef.
