Why are you taller in the morning than you are at night?

Because the spinal cord has these soft materials in between the bones, and when you lie down and sleep, the materials stretch out. When you wake up and stand back up, after a little while, the materials will basically get flattened by the spinal cord, making you a tiny bit shorter.
