Honeybees are very helpful when it comes to pollination. Like many other insects, the hairs on their bodies allow pollen to stick to them and rub off on other flowers. They are also very useful for their honey and wax. Many things besides humans love this stuff because of how energy rich it is.

They work for free, pollinating countless plants. They don't seem to mind very much when we (carefully) rob them of their honey.

Bees are responsible for the pollination of 70% of the plants on the Earth. Pollination of plants is essential and without bees we would be in for some serious trouble.

How does a plant transfer pollen from the anthers to the stigma?

Well first off some type of animal must transfer it to another flower. Such as a bee, a bee will fly to the flower for nectar (which is meant to lure animals into the flower) and will get some pollen on it's body (that is why it is a fine powder) When a bee goes to another flower some of the pollen will transfer from its body to the other flowers stigma. Hope this answer was helpful. :)
