Why can't hermit crabs see anything in the red spectrum?

My answer to this is yes of what i seen yes they are. hermit crabs cant look down so if you do put them on something make sure they wont fall.

i cant yes or no i would say kind of sometimes they would be separated and learn to take care of themselves

because they dont look like any ordinary crab and they carry their house. crabs cant hide in their shells.crabs dont switch shells and hermit crabs are most often pets not food no offense crabs!
