BECAUSE THEY JUST DONT.... when hindus eat meat they don't pray god on the day and peaople who are really religious don't eat meat :D and so Diwali is a day when evry Hindu has to pray no matter if they don't pray regularly so that day we all hindus don't eat meat :D HOPE U GET it
