bats can hear sounds of higher frequency than humans (supersonic) because they produce them and these sound waves echo back to them by bouncing of items so that they can see how far something is. Just like in submarines. therfore they need to 'hear' these 'supersonic' waves to see.
It depends very much on the sound pressure level the sound makes at the ears. Adults can often not hear sine tones higher than 15 kilohertz.
All of it
220 million tons
Up to 60 percent of the human body is water.
The salinity of the ocean was much higher than I thought it would be.
The sounds animals can hear is based on the frequency that the certain animal can hear. For example, dog's can hear at much higher frequencies then humans can, so if a sound is made that is above our capability of hearing, we will not hear the sound, but the dog will.
Some animals can hear higher frequencies than humans can. This is why animals can hear things like dog whistles, and we can't hear them. In all, animals can hear differently than humans in the way that they can hear more. Some animals can hear lower frequencies than humans can. Elephants can hear much lower frequencies than humans.
Bats do not hear the same as humans. Bats ear are much larger and much more sensitive to sounds due to their lack of eyesight.
yes, animals have a much higher frequency range than humans
most animals like dogs can hear more higher pitches than us so they can hear it, you should not blow it too much, because it will hurt their ears.
Dogs prefer higher voices ... in their own community, yips convey excitement, puppies with their high-pitched little whines are "safe" ... while lower-pitched tones (like growls) tell the listening dog to pay attention and be cautious.
Hello again, The sounds are heard not just by their tones., but for some they feel the vibrations on the ground and some have the accute sense of smell. it would take me a long time to explain this...go to the local Library and read about it from raptors to todays eagles to the thrree toed sloth. Read listen and learn.
the fact is that dog ears have a large variety in which they could hear better
Pretty much any sound they want to
A Cougar Cub sounds much like a house cat, a simple Meow. It has a higher pitch, and, at the same time, very low. Very Interesting to hear :)
I researched this question and apparently: "Dogs hear high tones in particular much better than humans do. Humans can pick up an average of 20,000 acoustic vibrations per second (kHz), whereas a dog is able to perceive between 40,000 and 100,000 vibrations." Although dogs can hear pretty well compared to humans, bats can detect twice as high a pitch as dogs.
No, you have problems to hear the TV when you have listened too loudly and too much to your ear phones. mostly most people cant, but i can and nobody believes that i hear high pitched sounds that other people cant hear...so ur not alone
