A giraffe can consume up to 12 gallons of water at one time when drinking from a water hole. They also obtain water from the dew on the leaves they eat and the water contained in their food.
it's because of their extremely long neck. their long neck will help them keep water.

∙ 13y agoActually, I think you might be thinking of camels. Camels evolved in desert areas, and are able to store water in their 'humps' for their bodie's use. whoev put this is wrong because giraffes can go without water for a long time
