Why can ice cream give you brain freeze?
The change in temperature of the roof of your mouth is what causes a brain freeze. If you rub your tongue on the roof of your mouth, it will go away more quickly.
Brain freeze occurs when something extremely cold touches roof of the mouth. The pain that we called brain freeze was brought on by a rapid increase in blood flow through a major blood vessel in the brain, the anterior cerebral artery. It normally happens when the weather is very hot, and the individual consumes something cold too fast.
