The definition of heterozygous A means the parent has an A gene and an "i" or basically an "O" gene.

The heterozygous B parent has a B gene and an "i".

So the genotypes are Ai and Bi. If you set up a Punnet square, the four possible gene selections are AB, Ai, Bi, or ii. If the child has "ii" then it is said the child has O blood. The AB child has AB blood, the Ai child has A blood, and the Bi child has B blood.

(Remember this scenario does not take into account the negative and positive part of blood types. Such as O- and O+ both have O blood but one is O negative and the second is O positive. Your question didn't ask this but I have seen many "trick" questions in Biology classes where the negative and positive blood types are part of the answer.)

Hope this helps! :)

One Parent is Type O phenotypically and is (can only be) OO genotypically. This parent can only pass an allele for type O. The other parent is AO, Based on this the parents have a 50% chance of producing an AO child (phenotypically type A) and a 50% chance of producing an OO child (phenotypically and genotypically type O).

Can two O positive blood types have a baby with A Negative?

Your question is incomplete, because you did not give the baby's blood type. If you just want to know if different blood types can have children together, the answer is yes. I can tell you that an O negative father and A negative mother can only have A negative or O negative children.

Can two negative blood factor parents create a negative blood factor baby?

Rh negative is a recessive trait but if both parents had it, then the children would have it.

If the parents are both Type BO what blood types could their children have?

Is it possible for a baby to have a different blood type then the parents?

It is possible if your parents have different blood types. Example, if your father is A with a recessive O, and mother is B with a recessive O, you could easily land up with a O blood group. However, an AB father can have only an A, B or AB child depending on the mothers blood group, but surely NOT 'O.'

Can a dad have a positive and mom have b positive?

I'm not sure what you mean by this but as for blood type, there's no reason two parents with different blood types can't have children. The children would have AB or O type blood depending on the recessives of the parents.

Can two parents with the o blood types have a child with the a blood type?

No, because A & B are dominants.

Could two parents that have blood type A have children with blood type O?

No, unless they adopt.

Are all children of same parents the same blood type?

of course they can, it doesnt mean that if you dont have the same blood type as your siblings, your adopted or something. if your parent's blood types differ from each other there is a huge tendency that the sibling's blood types are different from each other. for exaple your father is a heterozygous A while your mother is a heterozygous B.. their children's blood types can be AB, and an O can also be one of the possiblities.. if its too complicated to understand then you can just learn it from your genetic lessons in biology..

Could two parents that have blood type 0 have children with either blood type A or blood type B?

No way...

Is there an RH type blood?

Blood types are hereditary. Your specific blood type is determined by the type of blood that your parents have. Remember that your blood type is determined by both your mom and your dad, so just because you have a specific blood type does not mean that your parents are the same or that your children will share your blood type.

Can two parents with O positive blood have a A positive child?

No, it is impossible to get an A-type from two O-types.

What are the chances of having two kids that have the same trait?

This depends on the genetics of the parents. Simple blood group genetics lends itself to this concept. If both parents are AA then all children will be AA The most common blood groups are A, B and O Types A and B are dominant over type O blood. Types A and B combined produce an intermediate AB blood type. If the parents are heterozygous AO and BO respectively their children could be phenotypically A, B, AB or O (genotypes would be AO, BO, AB or OO). AA AO parents only A type children AO AO 3/4 A type, 1/4 O type BB BO parents only B type children OO parents only O type children AA and BB parents all children would be AB AO and BB parents children AB or B only AA and BO parents children AB or A only AB and AB parents children AB AA or BB

Can two o blood types have an o blood type offspring?

100% of the offspring of type O parents will be type O.
