Development may be difficult to measure as regions within countries may have a large variation in development for example in china rural areas can be extremely undeveloped whilst the large Chinese cities are considerably more developed, this is also true in many other countries so it is hard to measure the whole development of a country when areas can be very different

∙ 11y agowell firstly, somecountries are less developed due to their climate, GNP percapital(the wealth of a country divided by it'spopulation). it could also be the fact that what they export isn't very good. some countries are also known asricher poor ie, Sierra Leone they are a poor country yet they sell diamonds (watch the film Blood Diamond). some time it could be due to war but yes there aren't any real reasons according to me
