Alexander thought he was divined because, when he was going to pay respect to the other religions he had concurred the priest called him a god, so and so it was just luck he thought he as a god after that.

∙ 12y agoPeople that worshipped gods compared Alexander the great to the gods and he enjoyed the comparison between him and the gods, so he encouraged the comparison. He started to think of himself as a god after people started comparing himself to the gods.
