because he is stupied :D
No George Washington was not the oldest president. Ronald Reagan was the oldest elected president at the age of 69 when he was elected to his first term. He ended his presidency a few months before his 78th. George Washington was 57 when he was elected.
He said Howdy yo!
In a sense you could say Geroge Washington.
he was the president or you can say he was the founding father!:)
It was not a president that said this quote it was George Washington Carver.
nowhere. George Whasington made that up
There was no president when the Declaration of Independence was signed. At the time, in July 1776, Washington was General, and as a newly born nation in the throes of war, they did not have time or have the right man yet to elect a president. The first President, George Washington, was elected in 1789. He served the country from 1789-1797, when John Adams was elected as second president.
Gerald Ford was the first vice-president who was not elected to the position. He later became the president when President Nixon resigned his office, so I suppose you could say he was appointed President. (Nelson Rockefeller was the only other appointed vice-president. He was appointed to replace Ford after Ford moved up to President. )
He was the first President under the new Constitution, the only one to be elected by unanimous vote of the electoral college. Under ther previous Articles of Confederation, therte was no president or any type of chief executive.
Neither. We say the title and name together: "President George Washington fought in the Revolutionary War", as opposed to "President, George Washington, fought in the Revolutionary War". To make it an appositive it would need to read: " A president, George Washington, fought in the Revolutionay War". Because then it is reiterating "A president" but isnt necessary for completion of the idea.
well this question has caused many debates over time. Some say george but there are some that say that his first name is alfonso. i personally believe that his name is alfonso but that is just my opinion. i have done a lot of research on alfonso in the past but everywhere i have looked it has sadi that his name is george. no is it just me or are those people just plain stupid?
