He targeted young people mainly because, all this was going on after the WWI and so many of the soldiers had died. So therefore if he targeted youth he would have many more soldiers.
He also thought that many was the main problem for the youth, because if they had money they would buy books and read that what Hitler was saying and doing was wrong.
He also wanted to keep the youth ignorant and make them think that he was doing a right thing. Everybody believed because he was like a father figure for all these young people. And adults liked how he treated young people and thought that he was actually concernd for them.
He had boy scout that taught boys the basic ways of fighting as well. These were just of a few things.

∙ 13y agoYoung people are the future. If you control the children of a population, you control the future of said population. This was Hitler's hypothesis, so he spent so much time indoctrinating the youth in order to make sure there would be no rebillion in future and that they would carry out his wishes without argument or discussion. Hitler was, indeed, a paranoid intellectual.

Hitler's goal was to exterminate the entire Jewish race. At concentration camps, prisoners were used as forced labors. Since children were smaller, weaker, and not as productive, Hitler had no use for them.
If you mean why did Hitler target German children with Propaganda:
Hitler bombarded young German children with Nazi and anti-Jew propaganda to teach them at an early age to hate the Jewish people.
