Believe it or not, not all people think Hitler is evil, but he is. He killed over 6 million Jews, Gypsies and anyone that apposed him in gas chambers and ovens not to mention various forms of torture regarding not only adults, but children. Some people today choose to think that the extermination of over 6 million Jews was a hoax.
people feared him because he had really high ambitions to change Germany with politics and violence. he also was a very powerful man and most things that he said people went by without question. lastly he had a very racist side to him and the Holocaust was one of the main examples of his hatred mainly for the jewish but he also hated: homosexuals and Non-Germans.
I read someplace that Hitler was afraid of the Jews. He thought they were very smart and if they gained power, they would take over not only Germany but the world. In so doing, they would wipe out Christianity. He thought Jews were being used by satan.
Some people believed in the ideas without thinking them through ("mob rule/popular thinking") after influence by his oratorial skill; others agreed with the radical ideologies he presented. Many were simply swept up in the crowd.
Because he was responsible for the death, suffering and torture of millions of innocent people.

They few that either believed Hitler or were stuck up enough to believe that they were better than the Jews were the high-rankers, therefore had the most stuff. Postive and negative reneforcement was Hitler's way, positive first but just enough of the fear to make the Germans hide their fear out of fear.
