Maya goes to juvenile jail because Emilys mom is very mad at Emily for being lesbian and thinks it Mayas fault. Emily's mom finds drugs in Mayas backpack and thinks Emily has been using them with Maya. Emily get mad at her mom and is embarrassed by her. Emily goes to a nerdy tech person to be able call Maya because Emilys parentes made it only possible to call her parents.

∙ 11y agoIn the tv series, no one really knows why. Some say she might have uncovered the truth about the A's and some think she is still alive or part of the A team. Maya is just dead as far as the liars know.

∙ 11y agoYou'll probably find out in the Summer finale which is season 3 episode 12 but you may not because Alison's kidnapper and murderer still hasn't been identified in the TV show. You never know. But you won't have to wait long because the summer finale is in a few days.
