Frogs have a venom that can irritate a dog after a dog licks the frog. It is irritating to the dog. However, in many cases it is harmless. Though some frogs are toxic, if your dog shows other issues besides foaming at the mouth, you should consult your vet.
Because she either has rabies or she eats whipped cream. Did she have her shots yet?
Your dog, and all dogs, salivate when they eat. So do we. It helps mix food, and assists in swallowing and digestion. This salivation is under control of the nervous system as, again, is ours. Smell somethings and your mouth waters, right? That's your brain working for you. Same thing with your dog.
Years ago, a Russian scientist named Pavlov proved the nervous system connection by causing a conditioned dog to salivate when it heard a bell. Seems he fed this dog and while it ate he rang a little bell. Eventually the dog associated eating with the ringing bell and thereby slobbered his way into history.
frogs secret a toxic chemical and this makes the dog froth
It depends on the frog, Get vet attention immediatly just in case.

It matters what frog it is but if it the normal kind of frog than no my dashound bubba does it all the time!
._. nun. xD make sure you clean itself after!
It is a toxin released from the frog onto his skin to protect itself. I learned about this while in the U.S. Territory of GUAM. I know the frog comes from Australia and can grow to get pretty big. If they release the toxin and your dog licks or picks the frog up with its mouth it will get them sick and can be fatal for puppies still developing immune systems.
she licks her dog
get a dog
When a dog licks your rear balls! ;)
Yes. They like the sugar in it.
A creature that is half dog and half frog.
A large dog, I would think not. It would just intoxicate them. But if a small dog licked a frog or toad for a long amount of time, they could possibly become poisoned by the frog's defense chemicals. If the dog is still acting weird after an entire day, take him to a vet.Yes this could happen...But I think it doesn't matter wether the dog is small or large but it could still 'posion' them...Whatever the size.I sugest that you don't let your dogslick toad's that are in a road.If it does just wash it's mouth out.Beckie14--
My dog licks my legs and my daughters. We both have diabetes. He doesn't lick anyone else's body. Must be something related.
