Jackson felt that he could use that land for economic purposes. For example, he could sell that land and profits would go towards the federal revenue. Not only that but back then, Cotton was a major export of the Southern states and they made a lot of money off of it. The more land that they could use to grow cotton, the more cotton and the more money. To Jackson, there was no reason he couldn't move the Native Americans. Moving them was an easy way to get more money.

Jackson used force against the indians because he knew that the natives werent going to leave and all jackson really wanted for the U.S. was Power and Land.
