Answerer 1:

Because they were in charge of the country, and nobody cared or knew or was able to do enough about it.

Answerer 2:

Because - Hitler was in power. And because of his persuasive techniques, he had many people on his side. No matter what people tried to do, they were always outnumbered by the Nazi's. But the pain and suffering would soon be on them - Hitler committed suicide a couple of days before the war ended to avoid a trial, and all other men involved in the war war sent to Nurenberg for trial on war crimes. Many were jailed, and some executed.

NO IT DID NOT! Hitler dominated various parts of Europe and began to spread antisemitism there. Antisemitism is the hatred of Jews and discriminating or persecuting against them in any way to harm them trying to let them know Jews are hated a lot. Hitler's hate speeches gave a rise to hating Jews and became extreme at certain times when pogroms or other events were called out. People still hate Jews today and many other races too.
