- The Church was still powerful meaning Galen's work was still accepted.- The spread of new medical knowledge limited as most people were uneducated.- Treatment was not the main focus of medicine in this time - anatomy was.
There was not small impact on the understand and treatment of illness.......
although people were learning about anatomy of human body, this didn't create knowledge of treatments. for example knowing how somebody's jaw fits together isn't going to cure the plague!
