∙ 12y agoThe good Friday Agreement happened because ordinary people joined peace groups and other recruitments, whuch helped a lot, such as Gordon Wilson. At this point people realized that peace needed to be made, this agreement could not have happened without the work of ordinary people.
Another example is the peace train which encouraged people to travel between both the capitals.
