- against idols worship
- against racism and discrimination by gender, color, hierarchy, etc and superiority is due only piety
- against slavery
This call to Islam was accordingly against their interests. They felt that Islam spread will deprive them from earning money and power coming from idols trade and worship and through slavery trade and slave possession.
