Quite simply, Europeans had never come across the aboriginal people before. Australia is a relatively young country, having only been discovered by Europeans in the 1600s, and neither the Portuguese nor the Dutch showed sufficient interest in the continent to take the time to get to know the people. The Europeans perceived themselves as superior to the aboriginal people.

Our culture and beliefs were eradicated from our memory. Our language is almost extinct as is the Choctaw Indians. We have no idea what our ancestors wanted us to know. We now only have a pow-wow and not much else.

in world war 1 there was 300 aboriginal men because aboriginal people did not have rights so the europeans forced them to go to war. then later in 1963 aboriginal people got there rights and could choice to go to war or not people today do not know excacly how many but they are estimating at about 200 to 300.
i believe that they didnt use any transport but their feet...cars were not readily available and its not as if the settlers were going to say here have a car....but i dont actually know
