Sweet onions contain less sulfur than ordinary onions.
According to the prize winning CBC Journalist Carol Off, author of "Bitter Chocolate, Investigating The Dark Side of The World's Most Seductive Sweet", Hernan Cortez "was a broad- shouldered ladies man who had abandoned his law studies and fled to the Caribbean at the age of nineteen to escape the jealous husband of his lover (pg 19)." She does not mention his name.

The Boston Red Sox
Sweet Caroline was created on 1969-09-16.
The song was first played at Fenway Park during the 7th Inning Stretch, beginning at some point during the 2004 season. As the Red Sox began winning and rose to first place, the song became a regular feature of the games, and everyone sang along. (When the team won, the song "Tessie" by the Dropkick Murphys also became a regular part of the games.) Ballplayers are superstitious, and since these songs were associated with winning (first the pennant, and then, finally, winning the World Series after an 86-year drought), the music soon occupied a warm place in the hearts of the fans. "Tessie" is no longer played at the games, but Sweet Caroline has continued to be played, and the fans sing along with the chorus loudly and enthusiastically. Then, after the Boston Marathon bombing in April 2013, there was a big rally held to encourage everyone who had lived through the tragic event. Neil Diamond came to Boston to help cheer people up, and he sang "Sweet Caroline" at the rally, since it is a song that was a big hit for him and a song that has so many positive associations for Red Sox fans.

They play the goal song when they score. The victory song when they win. And when they are winning at the bottom of the third they play sweet Caroline-Neil Diamond. But lately, they've been playing sweet Caroline instead of the victory song.
