Best Answer

They shake because they are cold or hot.

Guinea pigs shake so much because they are so small. I mean, look at a guinea pig. Look at you. What's NOT to be scared of? Once they get comfortable with you, they won't shake so much.

No, they do not. They have special liquids that they secrete (squeeze out of) their eyes that they rub around their bodies that they use to clean themselves.

No. You should do it once a season at most. Guinea Pigs dislike baths and you shouldn’t give them often. I would say once every two seasons maybe. Unless advised by a veterinarian

Following is the reason that guinea pigs cost as much as they do: Guinea pigs are worth whatever people are willing to pay for them. Well here is my opinion... Guinea Pigs can't produce their own Vitamin C, so they eat guinea pig food, and LOTS and LOTS of Timothy Hay, so they can have as much Vitamin C as they need.
