Because people are human and it is impossible to be perfect. Even saints had faults, some known to have major faults. Also, some Christians just don't believe it is to be followed because it is the Word of God, and others call themselves Christian but are christian in name only: (but then, that's the same with all religions!)

becaus most christians are misled by false prophets to believe that no matter what you do you will go to hevean. also alot of people that just believe that a god exsists call themselves christians. the gate is narrow and few people will find it.

Another view may need a complete understanding of so called legal provisions or teachings and instructions bible clearly states it is a book of example of no private interpretation. IF IT IS WHAT ARE THE EXAMPLES FOR if they could not be used for correction or reproof. Could it be the book of Leviticus was to show us that it would take our very best, it would cost us something and how to die to the idol of self. Maybe the idea of the slave is to show we will be in submission to someone wiser than we think we are. That has said we will write these same commandments on our hearts after all Yashuah (Jesus) never gave any new commandments if you can find every one he gave in the Old Testament. In short if one does not know the law what its function is what it could or could not do. You have left off the most important concept of making sense of the entire book we can not take away from the prophecy of this book to build a house of tradition.

What Jews do not believe in is the "New Testament," which is part of Christianity, not of Judaism.
The reasons why Jews don't believe in the Christian Testament are many. Here are a couple:
1) According to Jewish tradition, prophecy ceased and the canon was sealed around 350 years before Jesus.
