Muslims keep their rules and rituals because they have strong belief that these rules and rituals are their means to win God satisfaction and mercy and to lead good life in this life and in the 2nd life after death.

∙ 11y agoMuslims believe that they are obligated to do what Allah wants them to do, because Allah is the creator of the universe and everyone in it, and because Allah will also decide the fate of your soul, after death, whether you will be damned or saved. This is essentially the same reason why Christians comply with the laws and teachings of Christianity, except that the Christian deity is known as God rather than Allah (and the two names are equivalent; Islam and Christianity have very similar concepts of God, but differ about the details of what His intentions are).
