It is love at first sight, and they want to get married asap, so they can always be together (which, sadly, doesn't happen).

Romeo and Juliet think its love at first sight but its not. They are young and naive. Friar Lawrence doesn't believe that they love each-other. The only reason that he married them was to end the feud between the families.

They rush to get married so soon so that some people can't stop them and they of course they think they are in love.

There is such a rush for Juliet to be married because the Capulets are convinced that the marriage will be able to bring joy back into the household after Tybalt's death and that it will deter Juliet from her continuous woe and weeping over (they assume) Tybalt.

I think that it is because they aren't supposed to be together, right?

So if they get married then it would be bad to divorce, ya know?
