All the Muslims have never waged the so called Holy War - Jehaad. This is untrue.

The issue of the Jehaad has been unnecessarily blown up to blame the Muslim world. To support their claim, they have read some verses of the Qur'an and proclaimed that Jehaad has been mentioned in the Qur'an

It has been mentioned in the Qur'an - there is no doubt about it but every single verse of the Qur'an has 7, 70, 700 meanings, as Imaam Ja'far as-Saadiq (as) has said. Depending on the mere translation of the Qur'an is incorrect and too shallow to explain the essence of the Qur'an

Recently, in India, the leading Muslim scholars have regarded all such anti-human activities under the banner of Islaam and Jehaad as unlawful and anti-islaamic.

Assuming that you are referring to Jihad exclusively in the sense of warfare, which excludes the Greater Jihad of Introspection and the Lesser Jihad of Intellectual Discourse and Public Policy changing, it is completely incorrect to say that "all Muslims" wage holy jihad.

If all of the various Muslim-led terrorist, paramilitary, and jihadist organizations' membership are added, even bearing in mind that this includes groups whose primary motives may not be exclusively religious (like the PKK) and individuals in those organizations who perform no military action (like Hezbollah-employed welfare-coordinators), we reach less than 1% of the worldwide Muslim population. Of course, this in no way makes striving against militant Jihad and Jihadism any less important, but to argue that this is an act that the entire Muslim population engages in is the height of fantasy.

While some forms of Lesser Jihad can be holy wars in the sense of armed conflicts, not all jihads are this way.Jihad is a tenet of Islam and a religious duty to strive in the way of God. There are two general ways to do this, the Greater Jihad and the Lesser Jihad. The Greater Jihad is an introspective journey to conquer your internal demons and follow the Divine Laws more closely than previously; this kind of jihad should be entirely peaceful. The Lesser Jihad refers to conflicts and confrontations between Muslims and Non-Muslims or other Muslims, which often erupt in war, but can also be performed through non-violent protests, debate, and advocacy.

Simply put, Jihad exists in Islam because the Qur'an demands it. However, it should be noted that there are two forms of jihad. One is an internal struggle to be true and faithful to Islam amidst all of the struggles and difficulties that the world presents. The second is the command to rise militarily in defense of Islam when Muslims are under attack, especially from non-Muslims. This second form of jihad is popularly considered the "holy war" type of jihad.

Maybe because the extreme Muslims believe that the revealing of the Ark will be a signal for them to wage all out jihad on all non Muslims. Or maybe so they can keep on getting gullible people to finance more expeditions.

All Muslims (and none Muslims) are leaders of Jihad. Jihad means struggle to get your life requirements, to defend your lands, homes, and families, and the struggle to follow good morals and religion teachings. Refer to related question below.

A Jihad is an important religious duty for Muslims, therefore Muslims would feel they had to protect fair defensive warfare at all costs.

First, we need to define Jihad. Jihad is a tenet of Islam and a religious duty to strive in the way of God. It is the Lesser Jihad which is often cast as a Holy War.Not all Muslims enjoy jihad; there is no group of people who uniformly feel the same way. If the question is trying to ask if most Muslims like Islamic State and similar Jihadist organizations, the answer is still "No". However, there is a sizable minority who do approve of what these Jihadists are doing or see them as a lesser evil when compared to Western military power. If the question is trying to ask whether the people who fight in the Jihadist organizations enjoy what they are doing, fighting a holy war is like any other job. Some people enjoy every minute, some people like the overall goal but hate the day-to-day, and some people wish they could have made a different choice.

Nothing per Islam religion is called war against non believers. Muslims are commanded by God to treat non Muslims kindly and with respect except those who attack Muslims and try to deprive them from their lands and try to force them to convert from Islam. Some understand Jihad as holy war which is wrong. Jihad is an Arabic word that means struggle. All of us; irrelevant to faith, religion, race, or culture; are practicing Jihad (or struggle) to achieve better career, better job, earn money for life, improving health and life conditions, ...etc. Refer to questions below for more information.

Answer 1Yes, all Muslims believe the thing about Jihad except terrorists. Refer to the related questions below for more information.Answer 2There are a wide number of definitions for what jihad means. It refers to struggle or striving and can be applied to situations as innocuous as exercising (a jihad against laziness) or situations as violent as offensive warfare (a jihad against the unbelievers). This is because the term is open to numerous interpretations and meanings and jurisprudential applications.

Arabs is not a religion. Muslims venerate Mecca as a Holy City. All Arabs are not Muslim. All Muslims are not Arabs.

No. Mecca is the Holy City for the Muslims. All Non-Muslims (including Jews) are banned from the city.

Jihad. Although "holy war" is a mistranslation. It means "to struggle" with oneself. To become a better person, this is known as the Greater Struggle. The lesser struggle is to literally fight, to end opression (slavery, etc.) and encourage peace.

NO. Not at all. Very unfortunetely, most of the non-Muslims, and many of the Muslims mis-understand Jihad. They confuse it with 'Killing'. It is not true. Jihad in Islam is of many kinds. The highest is 'striving' to control one's own animal, ruthless, brutal and evil passions. It is very difficult to remain cool and composed in the face of aggression. Islam demands 'patience' from its followers. Speaking truth, refraining from corruption of all kinds, being just to all humans and even all creatures, being honest in all matters of life, and being steadfast and upright in the face of temptation are among the actions which are the demand of Jihad of the Highest kind.Preaching Islam by the word of mouth and practicing it in one's daily life is also Jihad. Spending money in the way of Almighty Allah, doing acts of charity, helping the needy and the poor is also Jihad. When the enemies of Islam attack the Muslims, the Muslims must take up arms if negotiation fails and there is no alternative but to fight. Almighty Allah says in the holy Qur'an:Sura (chapter) Al-Baqra-2: Aya: 190; "Fight in the cause of Allah against those who fight you, --But do not transgress limits. For Allah does not love transgressors. Aya-193: And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah, but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who are oppressors."Thus it must be clear in the minds of the true Muslims that killing human beings in the name of religion is not permitted in Islam. Killing of one innocent human being irrespective of his religion, caste, color or country is like killing of all human beings in the Eyes of Almighty Allah (God). Almighty Allah has created all human beings and loves them all.

This is wildly open to individual interpretations, but the term Sunni Jihadist has come to mean by popular media use anyone who is an adherent of orthodox or Sunni Muslim beliefs who participates in Jihadist activities.According to Islam there are two forms of Jihad:the greater Jihad - the inner struggle of Muslims to fulfill religious duties.the lesser Jihad - the physical struggle against the enemies of Islam. This second, lesser Jihad has become a topic for current discussions on Islam. Many in the west interpret it as a sort of Crusade against anything that is not Islamic. All recent terrorist activities connected to Islamic factions has come to be labelled Jihadist, and those who perform such acts seem to revel in the application of the label.Sunni Muslims further identify four forms of the lesser Jihad:jihad bil galf/nafs - Jihad of the heart - resisting the devil and his attempts to persuade to believer toward evil. (Some Muslims refer to this as al-jihad al akbar, the greater Jihad.)jihad fil lisan - Jihad by the tongue - the believer is focused on speaking the truth and spreading the word of Islam.jihad bil yad - Jihad by the hand - the believer is direceted to do what is right and to actively fight against injustice and the wrong that exists within the world.jihad bis saif or gital fi sabilillah (Holy War) - Jihad by the sword - open combat against any who are not of Islam. The fourth definition of lesser Jihad has come to be the most common interpretation of the word, and typically is the "go to" definition of most westerners.

The Muslims believe that all human beings are the off-spring of Hazrat Adam (AS). In this regard all human beings are brothers and sisters. In Sura Al-Hujrat of the holy Qura'n Allah Almighty says that all Muslims are brothers. Many of the sayings of the holy Prophet (SAW) declare that all the Muslims are bound in brotherhood.
