Best Answer

Every cell needs ribosomes because ribosomes make proteins by assembling chains of amino acids. An amino acid is any of about 20 different organic molecules that are used to make proteins. All cells need proteins to live. Thus, all cells have ribosomes.

All cells need ribosomes because that is where protein synthesis takes place. Proteins are required for enzymatic activity, cellular structures and functioning, metabolic activity, and are essential for life to occur. Even viruses, which are not considered living but organic molecules, are composed of proteins.

Ribosomes are composed of ribosomal RNA and proteins. This RNA is synthesized and ribosome assembly takes place in the nucleolus of the nucleus in eukaryotes.

Every cell needs a ribosome to receive protein. You need protein for energy, and those ribosomes contain the protein needed for your cell to function properly.

ribosomes produce proteins.

Why does a cell need ribosomes?

Ribosomes are needed to produce protein in cells.

Do cells need ribosomes?

All living cells have ribosomes. The ribosomes are the " workbench " upon which proteins are synthesized. The ribosome has catabolic RNA to aid in this task and without ribosomes I can not see proteins being made, so ribosomes are vital to all living cells.

Do all cells need nucleolus?

Not all cells need a nucleolus. For example, bacterial cells do not have a nucleolus. A nucleolus is a dense body within the nucleus which is where ribosomes are formed. As viral cells do not create ribosomes, they do not need a nucleolus either...

What is the Ribosomes found in?

Cells are not found in ribosomes. Ribosomes are found in (eukaryotic) cells.

Why do bacteria cells have ribosomes As in what do the ribosomes do?

The ribosomes in bacterial cells do the same job as ribosomes in human and animal cells; they are "sites of translation (protein synthesis)".

Do animal cells need ribosomes?

Yes, ribosomes are essential for many things in animal cells. These include helping to translate DNA, and helping to make molecules.

Why cells need ribosomes?

To make proteins so the cell can function.

Why animal cells have more ribosomes than plant cell?

Much more need for proteins in animal cells. Much of plant building material is forms of glucose made by photosynthesis, so not the great need for the " workbench " on which proteins are synthesized; the ribosomes.

What is a function of a ribosomes in cells?

The function of the ribosomes in cells is to make proteins. Ribosomes are made up of proteins and RNA.

Are ribosomes in animal cells or plant?

Ribosomes are in both plant and animal cells.

Is the Ribosomes?

The terms eukaryotic and prokaryotic only apply to cells - ribosomes themselves aren't cells. Ribosomes are parts of cells, which can be either prokaryotic or eukaryotic.
