You have to stretch. Its the only way to warm up your musscle. If you don't you get cramps and could lead to hurting yourself. Do some splits do some push up sit up crunches etc....... So always stretch before dance!

dancers dance for many different reasons. maybe they are forced. maybe they were put into it at 2 years old and came to love it. some people do it for the popularity some people do it to say they are a dancer. some people do it to prove it point, for exercise and then there are the dancers who love it. the ones who dance to express perform to enjoy it. because they love the competitiveness and the constant movement. that's why dancers dance

You have to warm up before dance because otherwise you could pull/tear muscles/ligaments/tendons etc. Also, your body needs to be stretched, otherwise you're going to be stiff when you dance.
