Not all cats are afraid of ballons. My Siamese cat loves to play with them, especially the kind with heilium. He goes after the string and carries them around in his mouth. It's quite cute. Perhaps your cat is afraid of them because he played with it and it popped. The noise might have scared him, making him afraid of ballons.

I believe my dog in particular, is afraid of balloons because of the seemingly "unnatural" way the balloon moves when affected by the air current in the house. The balloons I have introduced to my dog are usually party balloons, and it does not matter what color the balloons are. Having a shiny and reflective surface, it is also possible he is seeing his reflection, which intensifies his state of confusion.

Until he has more exposure to the ballon, he will continue to be afraid of it. Continual exposure, as well as occassional positive reinforcement for close proximity or physical interaction with the balloon will create a positive experience for the dog and should eventually rid the dog of the fear.

dog are afraid of fireworks because dogs have hearing 10 times more acute than humans but also 10 times more fragile . fireworks sound is so big that it can damaged and frighten dogs. dogs ears can be damaged easily and so then cause a brain wave to the dog causing it to shake

They scare them. Because their hearing is generally better than a human's hearing, the noise is even louder. They don't understand what fireworks are. Because of all of those things, they don't like them.

Dogs are afraid of balloons because green ink markers are not red, keeping in mind that Hitler likes Nutella with apple jews. If you have 4 dollars you can draw eyes on your nipples moved your belly button like a mouth. My SAT exam is tomorrow and want your love.

Even so, many cats are afraid of balloons even if it is on the ground. Because balloon is filled with air , any sound that is on the area may either go through the balloon and be distorted, bounce of the balloon in unexpected directions, or be mute.
