Because if they can't maintain a stable internal environment they will not be able to respond to rapid changes to external environment and might die. Like if they go to a very cold place they need to shiver to increase body heat or else they might die. This is an example of homeostasis.

Why must living things have homeostasis stable internal conditions?

homeostasis is the ability for organisms of any kind to be able to adapt to the enviornment. It is important because without it we wouldn't be able to adapt to our enviornment.

What are the different functions of homeostasis and motabalism in all living organisms?

homeostasis' function is the maintenance of a stable level of internal conditions. metabolism's function is to take in the sum of all chemical reactions and transform energy.

What is the difference between homeostasis and metabolism?

All living things use energy to grow, to move, and to process information. Metabolism is the sum of all of the chemical reactions carried out in an organism. Homeostasis is the maintenance of stable internal conditions in spite changes in the external environment. An organism unable to balance its internal conditions with its environmental conditions could become ill and die.

Why must living things have stable internal living conditions?

homeostasis is the ability for organisms of any kind to be able to adapt to the enviornment. It is important because without it we wouldn't be able to adapt to our enviornment.

What does the homeostasis do?

Homeostasis is the regulation of internal biochemistry to maintain a constant internal environment. Without this constant regulation, living organisms would be unable to function. Therefore, homeostasis is the regulation of the internal environment of the body, and also the maintenance of this constant environment. Hope this helps!
