I'm not too sure you want to have to act differently to get a guy's attention, it's such a drag, because if he does fall for you then he falls for a slightly altered you, and then you'll have to keep up this facade for however long which will become boring and aggravating for you. the best thing about this question is that you recognise there's a difference in maturity between you and him, which indicates to me that you may actually be more mature than you credit yourself! Just be yourself, and if you two don't click quite as hoped then it never would have worked anyway in the long run. Happy hunting!

It is unnatural and odd for a grown man to express (emotionally) his love for his mother. If he disrespects other women, I'd say his mother has convinced him that no other woman (except her!) is worthy of him - and he's buying into it. If the mother is rich, she may be holding money over his head as a "carrot" to keep him to herself. If you know a man like this....RUN!!!
