Most people do not believe that the world is coming to an end until billions of years from now when the sun goes nova and burns up the earth.
The end of the world in 2012 is just some nonsense that only few nut jobs think is real. These are the same people who thought the world was coming to an end in June 2011.
Out of 7 billion people on the planet, only a handful think that the world is coming to an end this year, and that is because there are always mental cases who think that the end of the world is coming soon.
Next year is 2013. Because 13 is considered unlucky, there will probably be idiots who think that the world is coming to an end next year as well.
Same with the year 2014, 2015, 2016, and so forth. There will always be idiots who believe the world is coming to an end for some stupid reason.
No, just gullible people believe it! The Mayan calendar just ends!
Many people believe this would be the "fin el mundo" or the end of the world because of the Mayan calendar. According to historians, the Mayan Calendar doesn't have anything beyond December 2012.
Some people actually do.
I personally don't believe that the world will end in 2012. Some people say that because the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, however, the ancient Mayan race is extinct and so cannot continue thier calendar for obvious reasons.
I believe, like myself, people just like to help other people. Besides, it can be quite entertaining because there's other things to do besides answering questions. I hope this answered your question.
In actuallity, no one really knows. They just believe it's the end of the world because it's the en of the Mayan calendar
The Mayan calendar ends on the year 2012. Although the calendar does not say the world will ind in 2012 many people believe the calendar ends that year because the Mayans predicted the world would end that year.
No it isn't but some people actually believe it.
it's actually "Some people believe in God, I believe in music. Some people pray, I turn up the radio." This is by Muse.
BIZNITCH BIZNITCH
Actually no, these are just superstitions that people believe.
There may be other explanations besides God as we have no proof of His/Her existence...
